Description: The E.W. The Local Sales Manager will assist the General Sales Manager with a variety of assignments. This is a street fighter position for an individual that wants to be on a winning team. You will recruit, train and develop local Account Executives; create a positive work environment; assist in leading the team to exceed revenue budgets through customer-focused selling; provide managerial assistance in local and national rate negotiations, sales plans, ratings & research and marketing materials; create and maintain strong customer relationships; assist in the development of new revenue programs and ancillary sales projects; manage administrative functions connected with forecasting revenue, rate, pricing and order approvals; manage expenses of the sales organization; other assignments as required by management. Qualifications: Education and Experience / Certifications: 4 years of radio or broadcast sales as a Sr. Account Executive with proven track record of growth, goal achievement OR 1 year of experience in radio or broadcast sales management required Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or related field preferred Experience with both local direct and agency clients Understanding of inventory management, ratings, marketing, promotions, collections, NTR and digital media A proven track record of revenue success in the radio sales industry with mentoring experience Experience with CSS, Wide Orbit, Matrix and Microsoft Office a plus Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and proof of insurability.
