Membership in KAB
Dues are based on net sales. Active Membership status is an active, voting membership and is for Kansas radio and television broadcast stations only.
Your investment in the KAB is based on net sales for the previous year, defined as "gross sales minus agency commissions".
Associate members are entitled to one free subscription to the KAB Transmitter (monthly newsletter); a free copy of the Kansas Radio/Television Directory and a free listing in the directory; and an invitation to participate in all KAB activities and annual convention -- at discounted registration fees.
A KAB Professional Member is any individual in middle management or below at a Kansas broadcast station.
Any individual enrolled in a radio/TV or broadcast-related curriculum at a Kansas school or any student interested in pursuing a broadcast education/career, and who is not employed full time at a broadcast station, is eligible for student membership in the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.
Retired Members receive a free subscription to the monthly KAB Transmitter and other KAB communiqu├ęs of interest.
